Salt Plates are solid slabs cut from a single block of Himalayan rock salt, then ground and polished. Heated or chilled, they cook and serve food while imparting a light, even seasoning. They hold temperature exceptionally well, which is what makes them useful in both directions — searing over gas or a grill, or serving sashimi, carpaccio and desserts from a chilled plate.

The same cut-and-polish process produces tiles and bricks for salt therapy rooms, spa walls, saunas and backlit feature panels, alongside salt lamps and decorative pieces. Thickness, edge finish and surface polish are all specifiable.

Please be noted that natural fissures, veining and colour variation are inherent to the material and are not defects. Plates should be heated and cooled gradually.
